Ripple Effect Therapy is a small, private practice on Historic Venice Island run by Melissa Lou Koerner, LCSW, and David Koerner, LCSW. Together they bring more than 50 years of combined experience to adult therapy, in person and by telehealth.
Lou has 25+ years of experience and is a generalist at heart. Her favorite work is helping adults untangle enmeshment, estrangement, and parentification, and supporting people through grief and major life transitions. Licensed in Florida, Virginia, and California.
David has been an LCSW for over 25 years. He is EMDR certified and uses a strength-based approach with psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral techniques for anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. Licensed in Florida and South Carolina.
Private-pay sessions are $150, whether in person or by telehealth. Superbills are available on request if you plan to use out-of-network benefits.
